Interim Sr. Director of Marketing & Communications
Tenisha Griggs is a marketing strategist and revenue growth expert dedicated to leveraging brand strategy for impact. She currently heads marketing and communication initiatives at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, overseeing brand strategy, social engagement, and external communications. She serves as staff liaison for the Board of Directors’ Marketing Committee, where she helps drive strategy for the Center’s upcoming expansion and reopening. She has also played a key role in the Truth & Transformation Programs, including a national summit on historical memorialization and community engagement initiatives.
With a career spanning digital advertising, omnichannel marketing, and go-to-market strategy, Tenisha has led initiatives that have driven over $100M in growth. She has worked with Microsoft, directing the Non-Profit Tech Accelerator Program to help thousands of organizations adopt digital solutions, and Accenture, where she led the 50 Black Founders GTM Program, equipping underrepresented entrepreneurs with strategic growth frameworks. Her experience also includes marketing leadership at AT&T, where she developed customer engagement and brand growth strategies.
A Detroit native and All-American track athlete, Tenisha is also the Founder & CEO of 37X Digital Marketing Agency, where she has helped brands scale through AI-powered marketing and performance-driven campaigns. She is a frequent speaker on marketing and AI, contributing to industry conversations on digital transformation, advertising innovation, and strategic growth.
Tenisha holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a Certificate in Marketing from Georgia Institute of Technology. She is a proud mother to her 9-year-old son, Kase, and together, they are published authors of the children’s book and lifestyle brand, Rock in the Pocket, which helps kids navigate social issues like bullying and self-confidence.
