Michelle is the Global Vice President of Licensing & Retail at The Coca-Cola Company. In this role, she oversees world-wide licensed product sales, company owned retail (both stores and ecommerce) and the company’s World of Coca-Cola tourist attraction. During her tenure, the business has grown into new areas, dramatically increased profitability and won a number of key Licensing industry awards.
Most recently, Michelle worked at Forrester Research where she was the VP and Research Director serving Chief Marketing Officers. In this role, she led a team of senior Analysts who published research and advised clients on consumer experience, brand strategy, innovation, marketing strategy and organization design.
Prior to Forrester Research, Michelle spent time in the sporting goods industry. She was with Reebok where she held several senior leadership roles across strategy, licensing, product and retail. Previously at Nike, Michelle served as the corporate head of strategy and then the VP/GM of the Kids business unit.
Michelle began her career at McKinsey and Company where she specialized in retail and consumer goods. Having served a year as the full-time CMO of an Internet start-up at one of her clients, she also was a co-leader of the firm’s ecommerce practice. Michelle also spent a few years at Target where she was the VP of Strategy and Performance Improvement.
Michelle earned her M.B.A. and A.B. in public policy and economics from Duke University. Outside of work, she enjoys running, waterskiing and spending time with her family. She has also been consistently involved in a variety of philanthropic activities over the years. Currently, she sits on the board of Atlanta Beltline Partnership, Inc where she is a member of the Executive Committee of the board and chair of the Engage Committee.
