Donald brings his interest in the history of civil rights and 25 years of executive, finance, accounting, management and business development experience to his role. Prior to joining The Center, he served as COO of one of Atlanta’s most active real estate developers.
Donald has extensive experience overseas, including managing all the financial and reporting functions for one of the largest real estate projects in China. He has contributed his expertise on foreign investment as a featured speaker and guest panelist at several seminars. His extensive travel throughout the Far East, India and Europe has allowed him to experience how others are affected by limited civil and human rights.
Originally from North Carolina, Donald was inspired by the Greensboro Four and the sit-in movement in his home state. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from North Carolina A&T State University and is a certified public accountant. He is an alumnus of Leadership Atlanta and served on the Urban Land Institute’s Affordable Housing Council.
