- “Atlanta: Living the Legacy” Art Exhibition
9:00 AM to 7:30 PM on the Second and Third Floors
Savannah College of Art & Design students created art pieces that explore the rapid development and growth of the City of Atlanta and the role Atlanta plays in living the legacy of Dr. King.
- “I’ve Been to the Mountain Top” Performances
1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 PM in the Glenn Room on the First Floor
Austin Broughton performs Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I’ve Been to the Mountain Top” speech.
- Global Bell Ringing Ceremony
7:01 PM on the Second Floor Main Lobby
Guests will join people around the world to commemorate the official moment of the commemoration of Dr. King’s assassination at 7:01 with a Bell Ringing.
